Yoga with Marsha in Boulder, CO
Welcome! I’m Marsha Austin Rodwin.
I actively and courageously stand in my own greatness so that you can stand in yours. I am committed to practicing what I preach. What does that mean for you?
I am here to inspire you to live life out loud, fully self-expressed and free! I am here so you can fall in love with you!
I promise you that even when I’m uncomfortable – especially when I feel fear and anxiety bubbling up – that I will have the courage to share with you my experience of the human experience, right here on the pages of this website. I will always be truthful and tell it like it is, because I know that empathy is one of the most powerful healing forces on this planet.
I am here so that you know, when life hands you lemons and you feel like telling all those “make some lemonade” well wishers where they can put the lemons, that I’ve been there and I get it. I’m here to tell you “me too.”
I am a blend of a little East Coast, a little Midwest and a whole lotta Rocky Mountain independence.
I’ve created an adventurous and full life by taking tremendous leaps of faith – always in the direction of my bliss. I’m a former award-winning journalist turned marketing and public relations executive turned spiritual visionary, yoga teacher, studio owner and community builder. Along my journey, I have come to believe that what keeps most of us from experiencing what we want most – a sense of peace and ease in our lives – is that we don’t think we know the answer to “why I am I here?”
The truth is, we do. We just don’t want to hear the answer because between here and there is a whole lotta hard work and letting go of all the “should’s” and the perceived safety of our comfortably numb and small lives.
I’m here to wake you up to your own greatness. Yoga, in all of its forms, is my chosen teacher.
On this site, you have access to the results of my practice, the insights and aha’s I get on my mat in asana, on my cushion in meditation and in my constant observation and inquiry into this human experience.
For me, yoga is about breaking open. It’s about dropping what you know, and diving into what you don’t know with an open heart, faith and courage. It’s about facing our fears, dancing with them, crying with them and eventually laughing at them as we wave good bye.
My teaching is all about waking up. Slowly opening your eyes to who and what you are and the immense and infinite power within you. What starts to show up is an authentic, unstoppable, passionate being who doesn’t ask permission to shine! Professional Bio
